Each track is designed to best accomodate a hacker's interests and skill level.






FAQ

What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is a weekend-long event where high school and college women and individuals who identify as women form teams to create any project before the deadline! You can build anything!

When is the hackathon?

Sego Lily Hacks begins on August 6th and ends on August 8th!

How much does it cost to attend?

Nothing! The hackathon is completely free for all attendees.

Do I need prior experience?

No experience needed! Learn from experienced speakers at our workshops and learn new skills! Beginners can also earn our Best Beginner’s Hack award.

What are hackathon tracks?

Hackathon tracks can help guide you in creating your project, but you are not required to build a project that fits into a track. There are special awards for Best Hacks in each category!

How can I find a team?

We’ll be having plenty of networking and team formation sessions for you to find someone to work with, and you can also introduce yourself in our Discord server!

Am I eligible to attend?

All individuals who identify as women and are in high school or college may attend! You do not need to be from Utah!

How do I register?

Click the “Register” button on our website and fill out our form!

Will there be swag?

Yes, every participant will receive swag! Winners receive special prizes!

How will we present our projects?

You will submit your project onto Devpost, and the link will be sent to you during the hackathon!
